The BAX® System Real-Time PCR Assay for E. coli O157:H7 Exact delivers fast, reliable detection of E. coli O157:H7 in food samples, sampling cloths, hemp, and cannabis flowers. This AOAC-validated and Health Canada-approved PCR test provides accurate results at concentrations as low as 10⁴ cfu/mL after enrichment, with processing time of approximately 55 minutes. Designed for food processors and testing laboratories, this assay offers culture method-comparable accuracy with significantly reduced time to results. The automated system is compatible with various matrices including raw ground beef, beef trim, spinach, lettuce, and raw milk.
