SuperSnap® High Sensitivity ATP Test
This video demonstrates the proper use of SuperSnap®, Hygiena®’s most sensitive ATP test. SuperSnap detects extremely low levels of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and serves as a tool for allergen cross-contamination prevention. It is compatible with SystemSURE Plus and EnSURE® luminometers.
Key Features of SuperSnap:
- Liquid-stable chemistry ensures consistent and accurate results.
- Patented snap valve technology simplifies activation and mixing.
- Pre-moistened swab maximizes sample collection and recovery.
- Shelf life: 15 months (refrigerated) / 4 weeks (room temperature).
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Sample Collection
- Use a SuperSnap test device and a SystemSURE Plus or EnSURE luminometer.
- Swab a 4x4 inch (10x10 cm) area in a crisscross pattern with even pressure.
- Apply pressure to flex the swab shaft for maximum sample collection.
- Avoid touching the swab shaft to prevent contamination.
- Rotate the swab tip to ensure thorough sample collection.
- Replace the swab in the tube; it can remain unactivated for up to four hours.
2. Activation
- Turn on the luminometer and select a programmed test location (if applicable).
- Hold the SuperSnap device, then break the snap valve by bending the bulb.
- Squeeze the bulb to release the liquid into the tube and shake for five seconds.
3. Measurement
- Insert the swab into the luminometer’s read chamber and close the lid.
- Hold the luminometer upright and press OK to start measurement.
- Results will be displayed in 15 seconds.
- Used SuperSnap devices can be recycled.
