The Innovate™ System - Complete Workflow Overview

Reagent Constitution & Innovate™ System Setup (KIT4000)

1. Prepare Reagents:
   • Remove reagents from the refrigerator and place them on the lab bench.
   • Select necessary reagents: ATX, Dilutor DA, Cellsolver, Sensilux, Dilutor DS.
   • Reconstitute ATX and Sensilux using their respective diluents.
   • Mixed reagents are good for 5 days when stored in a cooling unit.
2. Load Reagents & Start System:
   • Swirl reconstituted reagents to homogenize.
   • Pour them into PP-vials on the Innovate system.
   • Turn on the Innovate Instrument and initiate software.
3. Microwash & Injector Setup:
   • Ensure Microwash is loaded into PP vials.
   • Place injector tips 1 & 3 into Microwash vials.
   • After the wash cycle, transfer injectors 1 & 3 into reagent PP-vials.
4. ATP Positive Control Preparation:
   • Reconstitute ATP following the same reagent preparation steps.
   • Dispense 500µL into 25 microcentrifuge tubes and store them in the freezer.
5. Microtiter Plate Preparation & Testing:
   • For daily controls, dispense 50µL of ATP into two separate wells.
   • Once controls pass, prepare the plate with product samples.
   • Run Time: 1 minute per test.
6. Automated Testing & Review:
   • Use Innovate software to automate plate preparation.
   • 96-well sample run time: 30 minutes.
   • After completion, remove the plate and review results.
7. End-of-Day System Maintenance:
   • Place injectors 1 & 3 back into Microwash PP-vials.
   • Run the ‘Wash’ protocol to clean the system.
